Senate of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft

The Senate acts as a supervisory and advisory body to the Executive Board of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. Among other things, it appoints the President and the other members of the Executive Board and defines the main features of the scientific and research strategy. It also decides on the establishment, conversion or dissolution of Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft institutions.
