Innovative Therapeutics (TheraNova), Rhine-Main region
Within the High-Performance Center Innovative Therapeutics (TheraNova), the two Fraunhofer Institutes for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology ITMP in Frankfurt/Main and for Computer Graphics Research IGD in Darmstadt cooperate with the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and with the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research in Bad Nauheim.
This collaboration is intended to establish a scientific-industrial cluster in the Rhine-Main region. The aim is the development of a joint research and development portfolio with innovative therapeutics with the ambition to rapidly transfer scientific findings into products and medical applications. The focus in the innovation center lies on the development of novel therapeutic entities such as proximity-inducing molecules, multispecific biotherapeutics, innovative fusion proteins and tailored microbiota for the treatment of diseases with a high medical need.
