Fraunhofer-GesellschaftIndustrialized Additive Manufacturing (IAMHH® ), Hamburg Metropolitan Region
The Industrialized Additive Manufacturing (IAMHH®) high-performance center is a centralized institution and driving force for all activities related to the industrialization of additive manufacturing in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. The center's key partners include the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), the newly created Industrialized Additive Manufacturing Hub Hamburg (IAMHH e. V.) and the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Additive Manufacturing Technologies IAPT.
The collaboration between these and other partners from industry and research allows the center to make an unprecedented concerted effort to address all technology readiness levels in order to advance this forward-looking technology. The center focuses on jointly shaping the next innovation steps toward the industrialization of additive manufacturing, especially through joint and contract research, training and continuing education, support for spin-off ventures and intensive stakeholder networking.
