Fraunhofer USA Center Mid-Atlantic CMA focuses on advanced Software and Systems Engineering with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Located in Riverdale, Maryland, Fraunhofer USA CMA promotes critical thinking and software-enabled solutions for industrial, public, and academic customers. In collaboration with the University of Maryland, the center conducts applied research to design and develop software-intensive systems that are secure, tested, and proven. Areas of focus include advanced AI applications for manufacturing, material science, healthcare, and life sciences, as well as supply chain analytics and management.
