These include open discussions with our employees, our industrial and research partners as well as stakeholders from the government and society as a whole,” said Holger Hanselka, President of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. “I am delighted that we have been able to recruit a proven expert in Monika Landgraf. Her experience and in-depth expertise will be a great contribution to the strategic development of Fraunhofer's communications. And this is of great importance for promoting Fraunhofer's contribution to the German and European economies as well as to society at large.”
“I am looking forward to my tasks at Fraunhofer, where I will be supporting the president's strategy together with a dedicated communications team and promoting Fraunhofer's role and internationalization activities,” said Monika Landgraf. “Communicating science and knowledge in a comprehensible way, however, is also essential for our democratic society, especially in times of fake news."
